Max Trimble : Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
A game with mum at age 13 is what got Max into squash. In 2014 he was awarded Northland Under-21 Sportsperson of the Year and Northland Secondary Schools Sportsman of the Year. He’s the 2014 New Zealand Junior Open champion, the 2014 Oceania Under-17 champion, was a member of the New Zealand junior squash team that competed in the world championships held in Namibia, and winner of the 2014 Wellington Junior Open. In 2013 he was captain of the New Zealand secondary schools squash team, and won Secondary Schools All-Rounder Sportsman of the Year. On top of his sporting achievements, he was also a prefect at Whangarei Boys’ High School, as well as the school librarian, having also been on the school library committee. A well-rounded student, Max also played cricket representing the Northern Districts Under-19 team, and won the Northland Secondary Schools open triple jump and open long jump which led to Max representing Northland at the 2013 National Athletic Tournament. He hopes to one day play squash at a professional level. Max is currently in his 2nd year studying towards a Bachelor of Management studies.
