Vocal + Piano Masterclass with Laetitia Grimaldi and Ammiel Bushakevitz

A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, with a Masters degree from Juilliard, French lyric soprano Laetitia Grimaldi has sung in many renowned halls and opera stages worldwidesince her 2013 Carnegie Hall debut. She has been invited to festivals such as the Verbier Festival (Switzerland), the Aix-en-Provence Festival (France), the Ravinia Festival Chicago (USA), and the Menuhin Festival in Gstaad (Switzerland) to name but a few. Today she works with Conservatorium of Music vocal students on French mélodie and German lied.
South African/Israeli pianist Ammiel Bushakevitz is internationally acclaimed as one of the most notable art song pianists of his generation. He is especially renowned for his interpretations of the works of Franz Schubert, for which he received the 2011 International Schubert Institute Award in Vienna. In this masterclass he will work with University piano students accompanying the vocalists working with Ms Grimaldi, on the intricacies, nuances and detailed aspects of the refined art of lieder accompaniment.
