Staff Paper Association Tool
The Tool (S.P.A.T.) allows administrators to update several University systems at once:
- Evaluations (Blue), and
- Academic Staff Portfolio (A.S.P.)
Administrators can get to the tool from the Assessments heading in MyWaikato.
They need to search for a year and paper code, then choose which occurrence of the paper they want to update.
They can then add a staff member with a role (type of permission) to that paper. They can also update the role of staff already associated with the paper.
For example: John Smith might be providing lectures for a paper, so will need to be associated as a Teacher.
Jane Doe is overseeing the paper, but not providing any lectures, so will need to be associated as a Non-Teaching Convenor.
