Downloading the Xorro-Q Launcher
To run a Xorro activity you may wish to download the Xorro-Q Launcher software.
Note: this is currently only available for Windows systems. You can also run Xorro -Q from your browser without needing to download the Launcher.
1. Log in to your University of Waikato Xorro Facilitator account. From the Xorro-Q Home screen, at the left, select Download button, then follow the prompts.
Note:
If your University of Waikato device requires Administrator access to run the Launcher, you may need to log a Kuhukuhu job or request assistance from your departmental administrator.
You can install the Launcher on a USB stick and use that in the teaching rooms. Download the file and save it to the USB stick. Run the file by double clicking it and it will install. You can delete the XorroLauncher Installer file once this is complete. Run the Launcher by clicking on Q-Launcher on the USB stick.
