Almost every enterprise today needs the skills of network and data professionals, coders, system architects, web developers and other technically trained professionals. With this explosion in careers comes a demand for smart, industry-ready graduates ready to make the most of technology within the business. The ICT Graduate School offers a Postgraduate Certificate and Master's degree in Information Technology to meet this need.

There is increasing international demand for trained Cyber Security professionals and our Mater's degree is the first of its kind to be offered in New Zealand. Graduates of this programme help meet the needs of New Zealand Government's Cyber Security Strategy.

A Basic Introduction to the Marae

The Introduction to the Marae paper has been designed to support professionals to grow their knowledge and understanding of the pōwhiri process and marae protocol, and to gain confidence in these settings.

Today, the pōwhiri process is common in the work space, and the marae and its related activities are at the heart of Māori culture.  Students will be able to apply their learnings in a safe and welcoming environment and make use of the University’s onsite marae – Te Kohinga Mārama Marae.  Practice with us so you can feel confident in a real world setting.
