Teaching Resources Library will be closed on 27 September, 2022 while the staff are attending a Library workshop. Hours will return to normal on 28 September, 2022. Hamilton Campus Library will be open with reduced staffing until 1.30pm the same day. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Library Closed for Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Day 26th September 2022
Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Day will take place on 26 September 2022. This one-off public holiday gives all of Aotearoa the chance to mark the passing of Her Majesty and reflect on her incredible life and legacy. All of our libraries will be closed, but we'll be back again on 27 September.
Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2022 – What's on! 12th September 2022
Kia ora e te whānau! This year for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori 2022, te Whare Pukapuka, the Library, has been putting in the mahi to get some tau kē awesome things together to whakanui celebrate. The theme this year is Ke Tu'uloa 'a e lea faka-Tonga 'i Aotearoa which means Sustaining the Tongan Language in Aotearoa. Kōrero i te reo Māori mo Mahuru Māori! 27th August 2022
Haere mai ki te whare pukapuka ki te kōrero i te reo Māori. Will you take up the reo Māori challenge with us? Starting on the 27th August, choose a challenge level you are comfortable with, from greeting everyone in te reo for a month, to only speaking te reo. There are challenge levels to suit everyone. Check out the Mahuru website for wananei resources and to register your challenge.

Epetoma o te reo Māori Kūki 'Airani - Cook Islands Language Week 2022 31st July 2022
This year Cook Islands Language Week runs from 31 July - 6 August 2022. The theme, based on the overarching Pacific Language Weeks theme of 'sustainability', is ‘Ātuitui’ia au ki te Oneone o tōku ‘Ui Tupuna which means, connect me to the soil of my ancestors.
