Register now for Financial Times (FT) interactive webinars 27th April 2023

FT.com has launched a new training webinar series. A training session for Education users will be held on 27 April 2023 (Thurs), 4:30 pm (NZST).

A sample of things to be covered include: New and popular content on FT.com: such as our Climate Hub and our Cryptofinance Hub; User functions that include myFT and the new Highlight function.

Details of the webinar will be emailed to users once they have registered. RSVP early as slots are limited--the session includes time for Q & A.

Lift out of order for maintenance 17th April 2023
The main Hamilton Campus library lift will be out of order 17th - 19th April while the main motor drive is replaced. Accessibility Services have been advised and will alert students registered with them. The Library Experience team will be available to collect resources from upstairs as needed. Ramadan Mubrara – Have a generous Ramadan 22nd March 2023
Ramadan Mubarak 🌙 We wish our Muslim students, staff and community Happy Ramadan and safe fasting. Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, started on the evening of Wednesday 22 March 2023 and will continue until the evening of Friday 21 April, 2023. Easter Hours 7th April 2023
The University will close for the Easter Break from 5pm on Thursday, although the Teaching Resource and Tauranga campus Libraries will close at 3pm and the Hamilton campus Library will close at 6pm. 24/7 computer areas access to the libraries will still be available over Easter.
Exhibition and Public Lecture by Zak Waipara 1st May 2023

In this exhibition and lecture, Zak shares the trajectory of his illustration career, describing his daily workspace and process. He also shares several specific projects, including Ōtea, a comic project for children based on pūrākau Māori. Location: University of Waikato Teaching Resources Library (TL4.19).
