In 2024, our Library staff member Sash, was selected to take part in the prestigious 8-month full immersion reo programme, Te Tohu Paetahi. Join us in Kōrero Corner, to hear about his journey to reclaim his reo!
He Kokonga Ngākau is a play on the well-known whakataukī "He kokonga whare e kitea, he kokonga ngākau e kore e kitea." A corner of a house may be seen, but not so the corners of the heart. The series brings together speakers of varying levels of reo who will share a small piece of their heart and passion for the language.
