Lunchtime Recital: Staff in the Spotlight

Take a musical pause in your day and hear the expertise of the University of Waikato’s Music staff in performance, the finale to our Lunchtime Recital Series for 2025.

Contralto Kristin Darragh, Violinist Lara Hall, Harpsichordist Rachael Griffiths-Hughes, Soprano Gina Sanders and Pianists Jonathan Jung and Francis Cowan, will share an exciting mix of music old and new.

Expect everything from sparkling baroque to vibrant contemporary sounds, including works by New Zealand composers Michael F. Williams and Lucien Johnson. A concert not to be missed!
