Welcome to the Outer Space, New Tech and Future Space Settlement: Human Rights for the Final Frontier Conference. This virtual event brings together international scholars, practitioners, and experts to explore the emerging challenges and opportunities at the intersection of human rights, space governance, new technologies, and future space settlement.
Throughout the day, you’ll hear from keynote speakers and join themed panels covering topics such as human rights frameworks for space activities, biotechnology and nutrition in space, environmental protection, AI governance, armed conflict in outer space, labour rights, space travel, and more.
To help you plan your day, please refer to the Conference Programme for the full schedule, presentation titles, and stream links.
You may also access the Book of Abstracts, which provides detailed summaries of each presentation.
All sessions will be delivered online, with presentations streamed via dedicated channels and live Q&A hosted on virtual meeting platforms. Please ensure you are familiar with the programme before joining the conference so you can move easily between sessions.
We look forward to having you with us and hope you enjoy the discussions and insights shared throughout the day.
