26 June 2012

Information Expo: The University of Waikato Information Expo on Sunday 24 June was a great success.

More than 300 people attended the first University of Waikato Information Expo, looking to learn more about life at Waikato.
Prospective students, parents and those looking to continue their higher education came to the university on Sunday, 24 June, to learn about student life on campus.
The Information Expo was an initiative of the university after the Waikato Career Path, a careers expo in Hamilton, was cancelled.
Staff, current students and Sir Edmund Hillary Scholars from each faculty were on hand to answer questions from prospective students and take guided tours.
The expo included presentations from the university’s seven faculties and schools of studies, student services, accommodation, scholarships and pathways to tertiary study.
