11 July 2018

President of New Zealand Law Society Kathryn Beck
President of New Zealand Law Society Kathryn Beck will give a talk on the Law Society role in the prevention of bullying and harassment in the legal profession.

All lawyers, both new and more experienced, are members of the profession and are equally entitled to courtesy and respect.

If that is the case, how did the incidents of sexual harassment, allegations of sexual violence and bullying, that were in the media earlier this year, happen?

And what is the Law Society doing to change the culture of a profession that is a good profession?
