Summer Research Scholarship applications are open now!

6 July 2019

The University of Waikato Summer Research Scholarships are intended to support and enhance research at the University of Waikato. The programme provides promising undergraduate, final-year honours and first-year master’s degree students enrolled in taught papers (particularly those considering further study at the University of Waikato), with the opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of research.

Scholarships are offered in various disciplines and support a ten-week period of full-time research from November to February.

Check out the lists of available projects for the 2019/20 programme and be sure to view the three Hawke's Bay-based projects listed in the "External Projects" section on that page. This year, we have local projects hosted by Hawke's Bay Regional Council, Guthrie Smith Trust and 3R Group.

Applications close on 15 September 2019 and students may apply for up to three projects, in preference order.
