Honey samples for Research
To ensure that meaningful results are obtained, we want to ensure that mānuka honey used for research is authentic. UMF™ Honey Association is a Partner of the Honey Research Unit and want to help researchers access mānuka honey that is rated UMF™ 5+ or more. This is the minimum rating for meaningful bioactivity in this complex honey.
If you are interested in working with the Honey Research Unit, UMFHA can supply you with quality samples for your research, please email research@umf.org.nz and cc honeyresearch@waikato.ac.nz to let us know your intended research and what honey samples would help answer your research question.
