Snow and Ski

The Waikato University Snowsports Club offers opportunities to ski and snowboard throughout the year. The club organises subsidized trips to Mt Ruapehu every winter, and hosts several other events including Snowplanet Trips and social nights.

This is a club for all students who are keen to get onto snow; abilities range from first-timers to seasoned shredders. We offer $20 memberships, offering several benefits including discounted trips throughout the season. Club trips are all about having loads of fun and hanging out with awesome people. Our first club trip is to Snowplanet which is coming up real fast so make sure you secure your tickets asap!

2021

Our first club trip is an overnight trip to Snowplanet from March 26-27. This will be a great opportunity for those new to the club, so if you’ve been waiting to get on the slopes check our social media channels for more details or send us an email (see below).
