Georgia Takarangi brings immense passion and expertise to these sessions. Having completed her masters in sport psychology, and being a life-long learner she speaks from experience and empathy. Her sessions are connecting, conversational, and deeply practical.

Meet Your Facilitator
Kuda Chininga is a qualified Occupational Therapist currently working at Waikato Hospital in the Mental Health Unit. Kuda brings a sense of humour and a kindness of heart that makes his sessions easy to enjoy.
Relax and Calm
breathing, mindfulness and meditation taster techniques
- Do you find yourself wanting to slow down but not knowing how?
- Have you always wanted to try meditation, mindfulness or breathing for relaxation but haven't known where to start?
- Do you want a chance to deepen some skills you already have and maybe learn more?
- Are you looking for a way to relax mind and body for better sleep, improved focus and a greater sense of wellbeing?
In these sessions she will dispel myths and expectations of meditation like why perfect posture is NOT necessary and why different people prefer different practices. The sessions will consist of a mix of 5-10 min taster techniques (e.g. sense awareness, body scanning, belly breathing, breath awareness and mantra focus,) with relaxed conversation in between.
