Resuming at a date to be decided in February 2023, Brother Andrew hosts a weekly discussion/study group for progressive Christians. Sometimes we have a book to read and discuss, sometimes we watch a movie, or follow a video-based study. For example, in 2022 we explored Father Richard Rohr's material on Embracing an Alternative Orthodoxy (the legacy of St Francis) and watched the Passion narrative as portrayed in the movie "Jesus of Montreal". Towareds the end of 2022, we discussed Brian McLaren's material on bias, while also checking out the interviews by Pete Enns on his "The Bible for Normal People" podcasts. This group is free and open to all, staff, students, and the local community, whatever your religious, secular, or spiritual identity.
