Palu Navigators

Talofa lava, I am the Palu Navigator for the ALPSS division this year! I study a Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology and minor in Linguistics. If you ever need a hand with course issues, assignments, paper arrangements, or even just an ear, I am always happy to help! The others and I are here to make sure you can succeed this year and thrive on your tertiary journey! 

Blue Room hours:

Tuesday: 1 - 5pm
Wednesday: 10am - 2pm
Friday: 11am - 3pm

Malo Bula, I am your Palu Navigator for the Division of Health. As a Palu Navigator, I am here to guide and direct you, our Pacific students, to succeed in your academic journey and provide you the tools to navigate your journey across this vast ocean of your tertiary education.

BuIa and warm pacific greetings, I have the privilege of being a Palu Navigator for students in the Division of Management. Whether you’re just starting or continuing your journey at the University of Waikato, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome. Pursuing higher education is no small feat, I admire your dedication and commitment to learning and personal growth.

As a Palu Navigator, I’m here to support you whether it’s course schedules, academic resources, or simply being a friendly face to chat with. University life has its highs and lows, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Let’s make this trimester a success. You’ve got a whole network of support behind you.

Malo e lelei, I'm a 3rd year student enrolled in a double major, first majoring in psychology and second majoring in Computer Science.

Some of the goals I have in this role:
- Helping students understand some of services we have on campus
- Helping students engage on-campus, such as events, clubs and engaging with other students/staff
- Helping students process the demanding logistics that can be thrusted upon us, confusing assignments, ambiguous instructions and maintaining a good mental through those stressful times

Last but not least, I actually hope to learn from other students too. I feel like understanding ourselves and each other not only helps us to help others, but it fosters positivity and general wellbeing.

I'm located in Tauranga and my role as a Palu Navigator is looking to support our undergraduate Pacific students and navigate systems and provide the right support for your needs.
