Who is eligible for the programme?

  • Those who are already working in the industry and have completed a New Zealand Certificate in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering and wish to upgrade to an accredited, professional engineering degree that is recognised around the world.
  • Those with degrees in earth sciences, chemistry, physics, mathematics and/or computer science.

Degree structure

Each student’s study journey will be customised based on their prior qualifications and skills and when they are able to commence full-time study. This could be as early as July, through Summer (C Trimester) or A Trimester 2021.

If you need to refresh your maths and physics, we are offering papers in B Trimester which you can complete part-time, online or on campus in Tauranga or Hamilton.

If you have a degree in earth sciences or chemistry for instance, and wish to pursue a BE(Hons) in Civil Engineering, you could start full-time in B Trimester this July.

Please note that the following degree structure is an example based off having completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Earth Science or Chemistry prior to enrolment in the Fast Track Graduate Programme.
