Electricity for Engineers

Concepts underlying electricity such as current, voltage and power will be introduced, and apply these concepts to analyse electrical energy systems.

Prerequisite(s): (14 credits at Level 3 in NCEA Calculus) or (MATHS165) or (a B- grade in ENGEN100) or (a B- grade in FOUND007).
Internal assessment / examination: 50:50

Note: Students must gain a minimum of 40% on the final exam in order to receive a clear pass on this paper. Students who do not achieve this will receive a maximum grade of an RP.
