Prerequisites: It is assumed that candidates have a good understanding of business and reporting concepts and ethical principles which apply to professional accountants from their MPAcct papers.

In Sustainability for Accountants, students will develop their awareness of environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts on organisations, and the role Chartered Accountants play in linking these issues to broader business agendas. Students will also develop an awareness of Mātauranga Māori and its contribution to sustainability decision-making.
