This paper shows how physics is used in practice to support applications of life-sciences. It will cover biological methods such as medical imaging (MRI, PET, X-ray etc), protein dynamics & crystallography, and measurement & interpretation of biopotentials. Underlying physics will be developed; topics include interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter, resonance, the wave nature of matter, thermodynamics, electrical cellular processes, dynamic equilibrium and rate modelling.
