This 15 point paper covers the topics of Solid State NMR Spectroscopy and X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometry which are both instrumental techniques widely used in the area of study relating to the chemical characterisation of materials.
It will cover theory and practice in the form of previously published spectra or studies There will be an in person exam (50%) and two other items of internal assessment worth 40% and 10% to do with the course.
