This module will introduce students to the basics of derivative securities. It is intended for students who have taken the core finance papers and gained a solid understanding of finance concepts, but wish to further concentrate in risk management. The module will essentially be the equivalent of a full semester Part 4 paper in the subject FINA412 with the additional requirement of submitting an individual research report on a particular area in either futures or options.
