An exploration of the law concerning the use and development of natural resources. It will address the relations between owners of resources (often the state) and operator companies, with a focus on extractive industries (mining, oil, gas, fisheries) and as circumstances permit renewable resources (forestry, water, geothermal). Public law, regulatory, commercial, financial and international law aspects will be considered.
