This paper focuses on pedagogical approaches that value culture, diversity and identity. A particular focus will be on engagement with priority learners: Māori, Pasifika, and learners with special needs. This is a compulsory paper for the Masters of Teaching and Learning that lead to provisional registration as a teacher
