This paper aims to develop skills and knowledge relevant to a wide range of papers in the Schools of Maori and Pacific Development, Education, Management, Law, and in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. It covers topics relevant to Maori and Pacific peoples on the political and social systems of Aotearoa. Particular emphasis is given to the place of the Tangata Whenua. Relevant organisational, study and computer skills will be taught as needed.
