Certificate in STEM
Looking to increase your STEM skills and knowledge? The Certificate in STEM is a 60 point undergraduate qualification that you can complete on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Whether you have a long-standing interest in ecology, are fascinated by robotics or are generally intrigued with Artificial Intelligence (AI) or data analytics, this flexible qualification will allow you to delve deeper in your chosen area from across all Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects.
The Cert(STEM) is also ideal for school teachers (primary or secondary), who wish to improve their knowledge and be STEM leaders within their schools.
As a 60 point undergraduate qualification, you can complete it within a single trimester or have the flexibility to study on a part-time basis while in full-time employment.
Subjects
Students can take four papers at 100 level or above in subjects offered by the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, the School of Science and the School of Engineering. Students will need to meet any prerequisites for their paper choices. Subjects include:

A pedagogy paper with the School of Education relevant to STEM subjects could be included, further supporting your ability to teach in your new subject.
Study full time in B Trimester
