PGCert - Biological Sciences as a subject
Please note
From 2018 Biological Sciences will be replaced by Ecology & Biodiversity and Molecular & Cellular Biology at the Hamilton campus. Year 3 of Biological Sciences will remain available in Tauranga for students who have already begun the NZ Diploma in Environmental Management - Marine or Terrestrial (Levels 5 and 6) with Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology.
Postgraduate certificates and diplomas provide the opportunity for continuing professional development in the same area as an original degree.

New to Waikato? The International Excellence Scholarship is worth up to $10,000.
Anne Shannon Scholarship Closed
For students who are enrolled in their second year of full-time study in either a BSc or BSc(Tech) majoring in Ecology & Biodiversity or Molecular & Cellular Biology. Applicants must be enrolled in at least 60 points of papers coded BIOEBxxx or BIOMOxxx. The scholarship will have a value of $2,500 per year for two years.
Brian Perry Charitable Trust Undergraduate Scholarship in Science & Engineering Closed
For students who are enrolled in the second year of full-time study towards an undergraduate degree, in the School of Science or the School of Engineering at the University of Waikato. The scholarship will have a value of up to $3,000.
Hamilton Zoo - University of Waikato Science & Engineering Scholarship Closed
For students who are enrolled full-time and have completed the second year of the Bachelor of Science (Technology) degree. The scholarship will have a value of $14,000 and a one year placement with the Hamilton Zoo.
