My Experience
Literacy is my strength. I have many years experience working in and with schools supporting and growing their literacy capability. I have experience working in both small rural and large urban schools as both a principal and a middle leader. I like to support schools to be both systematic and strategic in their literacy development so all children receive the support they need. Reading Recovery is an essential first step in this strategy. When delivered as intended it can make a significant difference to tamariki, whānau and school outcomes.
