Katherine is currently in her first year of study doing a bachelor of Primary Teaching conjoint degree with Sport and Leisure Studies.

Katherine's most recent achievements in her sport include making the University of Waikato Netball Club Premier Reserves Team and she is going to trial for the Hamilton U19 Representative Netball Team.

Some of Katherine's career highlights include, Inglewood United Rugby Club U21 Best All Round Junior Sports Person of the Year 2013 and 2014. She was named U21 Best All Round Junior Sports Person of the Year for 2013 and 2014 in recognition of all of sporting achievements and success involved in all aspects. She was in the IURFC Premier 1 Netball Team who were winners of the Premier 1 grade both 2013/14. This award was eligible to all U21 Rugby and Netball players who played for the club. Katherine was named 99ers Basketball Club U20 Player of the Year 2014. She was named U20 Player of the Year 2014 in recognition of all of her basketball highlights and results performing for the club team she was in.

She was named Best All Round Year 12 Girl in recognition of her achievements and success in academic, sporting and cultural activities throughout the year. She was also named Senior Sportswoman of the Year, 2014 and 2015.

Katherine was also named the Year 12 Maori Student Showing Most Leadership Potential. In 2014 She was awarded Maori Student Showing Most Leadership Potential in recognition of her efforts to demonstrate leadership qualities and potential throughout the year in all aspects.
