As Human Resources Coordinator for Carter Holt Harvey Packaging, Kirsten needs a good grasp of all things HR principals and relevant legislation to ensure she can do her job effectively.

Project managing two major projects within our business has been the highlight of her career to date. “The first was a complete upgrade of our HR Intranet which meant, designing the layout, upgrading all the content and liaising very closely with our IT department. The second was leading a leave-on-line project, which took our paper based leave system to an online version. With this project I also had to write all training documentation and deliver training to all users within the business.”
Kirsten’s day typically involves dealing with managers from all five sites on a range of Human Resources issues, coordinating with our payroll team and coordinating performance management activities including quarterly reviews and disciplinary action and monthly reporting.
