Music and Creative Technologies

Former Hamilton Boys’ High Head Prefect Sam Franicevic has been playing the guitar since he was 11. Since then, he has developed a passion for the guitar which has evolved into composing for many different genres of music. In 2011, he started using the computer, now one of his main ‘instruments’, to create many of his musical pieces. He’s been involved in many ‘talent quest’ style competitions for guitar playing, and won the 2010 Search 4 Stars national talent quest competition as well as the 2011 Parachute’s Got Talent competition. He hopes to start sharing his work and publish the songs that he’s written electronically, and writing scores for films. In the future, he hopes to work either as a businessman or a musician.
