Assessment & Aromatawai

We work alongside schools and kura to strengthen assessment and aromatawai practices that lead to deeper learning, improved achievement, and equitable outcomes for all ākonga.

Assessment & Aromatawai PLD (Years 0-8)

This Ministry-funded PLD supports kaiako and leaders to build shared understanding of assessment and aromatawai as integral to teaching and learning.

Our facilitators bring extensive experience across English-medium and Māori-medium settings, drawing on rich expertise to support practice that is relational, evidence-informed, and culturally sustaining.

Delivery is flexible and hybrid, combining up to six PLD days and eight Communities of Practice (CoP) sessions over a 12-month period. Programmes are co-designed to meet local priorities, ensuring relevance and sustainability.
