My Experience

I bring over 15 years of experience as a Deputy Principal in the primary education sector, with a strong foundation in curriculum leadership across mathematics and literacy. My work is deeply grounded in restorative practice and trauma-informed approaches, with a strong relational focus that supports meaningful engagement with tamariki, whānau, and educators.

I have extensive experience working with students with specific learning needs and am passionate about creating inclusive, responsive learning environments. As a facilitator, I lead professional development in restorative practice for both primary and secondary schools, supporting educators to build relationally rich, culturally sustaining, and emotionally safe learning communities.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with Provisionally Registered Teachers (PRTs), supported school-wide initiatives, and built strong networks across the education sector. My facilitation style is collaborative and strengths-based, aimed at empowering educators to embed restorative principles into everyday practice.
