My Experience

My career in the education sector spans 35 years in a variety of roles including teacher, counsellor, head of department, and leading secondary school guidance and pastoral teams. Over the last two decades I have developed my skills and knowledge in the restorative practice space in both facilitating and leading implementation teams as they develop a school wide approach to becoming restorative organisations.

I am a trained mediator and facilitator, and work in education and across a diverse range of government and private organisations in New Zealand. This work includes supported organisational leaders and boards to respond to workplace challenges including resolving conflict, aligning varied leadership perspectives, and co-designing organisational processes with a focus on long-term solutions to support collaborative, high-performing, workplace cultures. I bring an inclusive approach that seeks to understand diverse viewpoints, surface elements that contribute to conflict, and facilitate dialogue that rebuilds trust and ensures sustainable solutions to complex challenges.

I have been a board member of Restorative Practices International since 2020.
