Exploring the critical role of teachers in early years education

Was held on Saturday, 10 October 2020 TIME: 9.30–12.00pm

Due to Covid-19, the Early Years Research Centre He Kōhanga Toi Tangata annual teachers’ conference was a mini conference, featuring the three keynote speakers and held via ZOOM. The theme was Exploring the critical role of teachers in early years education. The speakers were three Aotearoa New Zealand teachers/kaiako whose work has influenced and inspired many children, tamariki, families and whānau. Other planned presentations by University of Waikato academics and research students will be published later in the year as online papers.
