An afternoon with Jean McNiff
Date / Time: 24 November 2011 1-4pm
NZCARN invites you to attend this video-linked seminar. Jean’s focus will be Researching our practice: Transparency, accountability and transformation.
The afternoon will take the form of a workshop with an initial presentation by Jean, group discussion and preparation of questions and a further session with Jean in response.
Jean McNiff is a significant figure in the action research world, well known for her own publications and her willingness to support other researchers. She holds part-time professorial positions at various universities: St Mary’s University College, Twickenham, UK; the University of Limerick, Ireland; Ningxia Teachers University, People’s Republic of China; the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa. We are fortunate to have this opportunity to interact with her during her New Zealand visit.
We will be linking to other universities by video-link so that CARN members, and potential members, at other institutions can attend this event.
