Call for special issue of WJE

Date / Time: Deadline: 14 April 2013

With a focus on the education field this special issue of Waikato Journal of Education brings together work presented within two Bourdieu huis held in the last twelve months at The University of Waikato, Aotearoa/New Zealand and international scholars. The huis were created to enhance our language and understandings of the conceptual work of Bourdieu, share the methodological and theoretical dilemmas and breakthroughs in our work where reflexivity and practice is central, and create a community of scholars who can take his work to new places.

Submissions are also invited from those who did not present at these huis but who have researched practice within education, applying and going beyond Bourdieu being central to their project...more detail.

Those interested in contributing to this issue should submit their paper by 14 April 2013 via the e-journal website

You will need to create a username and password for the electronic submission prior to uploading your submission.

As the website upload is a work in progress I recommend you also submit your submission as an attachment to [email protected] as a backup. This special issue is first to test the new website submission process. Any feedback about the process or site is very welcome.
