Waikato Journal of Education Special Section: Early Childhood

Date / Time: 12 September 2012

We are pleased to present another issue of the Waikato Journal of Education (WJE).

This issue contains a selection of articles centred on Early Childhood Education edited by Dr Linda Mitchell. These include an exploration of funding and policy changes over a decade, the collaboration one kindergarten undertook to work closely with other agencies to support parents in their engagement with early childhood education, and an Australian study examining the integration of early childhood services.

Other articles include a role-play game to teach tertiary students in Marine and Environmental Management courses about resource management from different points of view and another is an interview with Emeritus Professor Ted Glynn about his role in special education and his advocacy for inclusive education. Finally, the issue concludes with a book review and a number of doctoral abstracts.
