Hamilton Civic Choir presents: "Untravelled Worlds"

Hamilton Civic Choir is delighted to bring to you, “Untravelled Worlds” - our second concert in the 2023 Concert Season of “New Horizons"

We are excited to be performing Missa Pax, by Canadian composer Timothy Corlis, featuring virtuosic clarinettist Stefenie Pickston and our very own collaborative pianist Chris Greenslade.

Hamilton audiences will again be able to hear this beautiful piece of modern liturgical music, composed as a celebration of divine love as expressed by peace makers throughout the world.

During the second half of our programme we will take you with us on a journey to “Untravelled Worlds”. Our repertoire will include traditional music from as far as Korea, France and America. We will also explore Aotearoa New Zealand, with our trip culminating in a beautiful cultural blending with Sanctus and Benedictus in Te Reo Maori written by our very own, Fergus Byett
