About Deborah


Deborah's qualifications include post graduate studies in research methodologies and marketing undertaken at Waikato University. She has over ten years experience as a researcher/research consultant in both the tertiary and private sectors. All research roles included research, research project management and the communications of research outputs. Previous to her current role at Waikato, she was a project/research manager for Victoria University and the New Zealand Law Foundation's Regulatory Reform Project. Deborah has previously worked as a researcher and research consultant for the Waikato University for the Management School and Management Research Centre.

Current Role

Deborah's current role involves the dissemination of research and how this might be best achieved for the education research produced through the Wilf Malcolm Institute of Educational Research. This includes strategic communications, events, social media and the WMIER website. Deborah also assists with research projects and the Faculty of Education's research outputs.
