Facilities Services is a support service for all schools and divisions with special responsibility for ensuring technical safety, staff and student comfort, advising on solutions for internal environmental conditions. To meet these requirements the Facilities Services section plan maintenance and improvements to the building structure and finishes, as well as respond to urgent repairs/ emergencies 7 days a week.
The Section is also involved in Energy procurement and conservation, lighting, power including 11kV infrastructure, heating and air conditioning, standby and emergency plant and equipment including generators, UPS systems, fire alarms, emergency lighting.
