Cambridge-Rutherford Memorial Scholarship

Closing date: 02 Aug 2018

The Cambridge-Rutherford Memorial PhD Scholarships are intended to provide full support to enable completion of a PhD at the University of Cambridge in pure or applied science. *This is an indicative amount, as the allowance is set annually by the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust to cover annual living expenses while studying at the University of Cambridge.

HRC Māori Health Research Opportunities

The Māori Health Research Summer Studentships are designed to introduce research to students studying health-related courses, and for those who would like to be involved in a Māori health research project over the summer period. Summer studentships are worth $5,000.

HRC Pacific Health Research Opportunities

Sylff Research scholarship for Masters and PhD

Closing date: 01 Oct 2018

Scholarships are offered for study towards research in either a Masters or PhD degree in a wide range of disciplines, provided the research is in the broad fields of Humanities (ie. the study of human culture, especially literature, languages, history, art, music and philosophy) or Social Sciences (i.e. the scientific study of any aspect of social behaviour and/or the functioning of society).

Te Pua Wānanga ki te Ao - The Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Studies International Exchange Scholarship

Closing date: 15 Jul 2020

For students who are enrolled full-time in at least one major in the Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Studies, and have completed at least one year of study towards this major. For students who are enrolled full-time in a graduate degree in the Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Studies at the University of Waikato. The Award will have a value of up to $5,000.

Te Pua Wānanga ki te Ao Postgraduate Excellence Awards

Closing date: 11 Aug 2019

For students who are enrolled part- or full-time in a PhD in the Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Studies at the University of Waikato. The Award will have a value of up to $5,000.

Te Pua Wānanga ki te Ao Undergraduate Excellence Award

Closing date: 11 Aug 2019

For students who are enrolled full-time in the second or third year of their undergraduate degree within the Faculty of Māori and Indigenous Studies. The scholarship will have a value of up to $1,000.

The Sir Hugh Kawharu Masters Scholarship for Innovation in Science

Closing date: 01 Sep 2018

For students studying at masters level in the sciences. The Scholarship is applicable across a broad range of science disciplines including the physical, mathematical and computational, earth, environment, marine, social, health, biological, biomedical, human, and behavioural sciences. The Scholarship has a value of $10,000.
