Burning Issues:

The failure of the New Zealand response to climatic change

This book was designed to have a direct influence on the formation of NZ's climate change policy. In addition to many favourable reviews, this book lead to a series of high-profile public discussions between myself & the lead policy makers on NZ's climate policy (from the Ministry for the Environment) via 3 journal articles between myself and the lead policy makers in Wellington in the NZJ of Environmental Law. Over the intervening years and with a number of articles following on from the original text, NZ finally adopted the Kyoto Protocol in a manner which partly recognised my concerns.
