The Environmental Defence Society (EDS) is looking for an intern to work full or part-time during the upcoming university summer holiday.

EDS is a not-for-profit environmental organisation comprised of resource management professionals who are committed to improving environmental outcomes in New Zealand.

This position is a learning opportunity that offers a student studying law the opportunity to work on a variety of EDS’s projects which include submissions, litigation, policy and community guides.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • a law student who has completed a paper in resource management law
  • taking a science-law conjoint degree
  • achieving high grades
  • self-motivated

The position is based in our office at Northcote Point, Auckland. The hours and times are flexible. The position is an unpaid volunteer position.
