What do I need?
To practice law in New Zealand you must have completed:
- An LLB degree,
- A professional Legal studies course offered by the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and
the College of Law New Zealand. - comply with all the requirements of the Law Practitioners Act 1982
You can then apply to be admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
