Administering bodyThe Office is a Crown entity. The Ministry of Justice is responsible for administering the Films, Videos and Publications Act 1993. The Classification Office is funded by the Department of Internal Affairs, and the Chief Censor is accountable to the Minister of Internal Affairs.
