Te Pūoho is a kaupapa dedicated to Māori student achievement which aims to:
- inspire you to succeed academically
- empower you with the tools needed to navigate University life
- connect you to a whānau within your area of study and to opportunities throughout the University.
Our Te Pūoho hubs can be found throughout the University in Hamilton and Tauranga and are a first point of contact for anything you need. Each hub has a friendly team of Whītiki Tauira, students who understand the struggles and rewards of University life and can provide guidance when needed. Along with academic, pastoral and procedural help, the Units provide sporting, cultural and social opportunities throughout the year.
