The Waikato Public Law and Policy Research Unit is proud to present The Honourable Justice Rhys Harrison KC's lecture, bringing you a judicial perspective on the coalition government's newly proposed Treaty of Waitangi Bill.
Justice Harrison KC practiced law for almost 30 years, specializing in Civil and Commercial Litigation and appearing before the Privy Council on a number of occasions, before being appointed to the High Court Bench in 2001 and subsequently to the Court of Appeal in 2010. His Honour retired from the Judiciary in 2018 and is back into professional practice. His Honour is also a current Member of the Court of Appeal of Samoa and Tonga.
