My Experience

Ko Maungatua te maunga. Ko Taieri te awa. Ko Cameron te hapū. I tēnei wā, ko Kirikirioa tōku kāinga.

Working with leaders and teachers I challenge assumptions and beliefs to identify links between current practice and student achievement. I bring supportive, effective and culturally responsive facilitation practices that are appropriate for diverse learners. This way of working empowers others to reach their potential and grow their learner agency.

Te Tiriti ō Waitangi, equity and social justice are key to my approach. Valuing diversity, my practice is underpinned and informed by Ka Hikitia, Tātaiako, the Pasifika Education Plan and Success for All.

As an experienced leader, facilitator and mentor with a deep knowledge of mathematics teaching and learning, I encourage transformational change through working in a collaborative and adaptive manner to meet the needs of all stakeholders. I am highly skilled at designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating tailored professional development that builds the capability of leaders and teachers.
